Governance & Court

The Company is governed by a Court led by our Master, a Senior Warden and three Junior Wardens who are elected from the Court and twenty one Court Assistants, supported by Past Master Emeriti and Honorary Court Assistants.

The Clerk to the Company is our Chief Executive, responsible for carrying out the policies and directions of the Court and for the efficient running of the Company, its principal Committees, organising Company events and maintaining the Company’s operations,  finance and administration.

We are established by an Act of Parliament, and operated through our Standing Orders. A copy of these can be found in the resources section of our membership area here
