Membership Categories

Journeymen Freemen:

For apprentices completing their apprenticeship and obtaining a Boat Master’s Licence and required endorsements.

Freedom of the Company by Patrimony:

Available to individuals born to parents who were Journeyman Freemen at the time of their birth.

Craft Owning Freemen:

For those with a connection to the Company, the River Thames or the maritime sector.

Requirements include Freeman of the City of London status, and sponsorship by two Craft Owning Freemen.

All Freemen enjoy exclusive benefits, including discounted hall hire rates, access to Company events and newsletters, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.
