Henley Sculling Weekend 2016

Over fifteen apprentices and trainees attended the Sculling and Coaching weekend at Henley.  The weekend started with a ‘Curry’ cruise aboard a Salter’s Steamer, with Saturday concentrating on rowing at the Upper Thames Rowing Club.


On Saturday night dinner was held at the  Remenham Club. The Master Mr John Salter attended along with several members of the Court and other  Freemen of the Company to welcome the apprentices, trainees and their family.


The winner of the Ben  Woollacott  Memorial Sculls 2016.


Winner of the Ben Woollacott Memorial Sculls, Lucas Britton, received his prize from The Clerk, Colin Middlemiss, watched by the Master, John Salter and the Rowing Officer, Senior Warden Simon McCarthy.  Lucas will have his name engraved on the trophy and be presented with it at the Doggett’s Emblem and Rowing Awards on 1st February 2017.
