Noggin and Natter

Noggin and Natter

It is the Master’s aim for his year to devise ways of involving younger Freemen in the Company’s activities.  To start he invited ten young Freemen to come to Watermen’s Hall on 22nd November for a “Noggin and Natter”.  The purpose was to discover why younger Freemen were not involved as much as they could be and how that might be resolved.  Over beer and some snacks, it emerged it was really down to communication.  Those present felt they did not know when events were being held and whether they were invited.  So plans are being laid to circulate Waterman Hoy more widely and to use Social Media to broadcast the dates of events.

If you would like to become move involved please contact us at the Hall.
