Doggett’s Emblem & Rowing Awards

The Doggett’s Emblem and Rowing Awards took place on 29th January 2018 at Watermen’s Hall.

As well as the Master of the Watermen’s Company and members of the Court, the Company was most pleased to welcome representing the Fishmonger’s Company the Past Prime Warden Andrew Morgan and the Clerk Cdre Toby Williamson MVO, RN.

Jack Keech, the winner of the 2017 Doggett’s Coat and Badge Wager received his silver Doggett’s pin.

Joseph Thompson was presented with the Ben Woollacott Memorial Sculls by Mr and Mrs Steve Woollacott.

Certificates for those who attended the Henley Sculling Weekend were presented by the Master Mr Simon McCarthy.

A new award was the presentation to the Most Improved Apprentice 2017 at the Henley Sculling weekend, of the Doggett’s winner’s cup won by the late Craft Owning Freeman George Saunders and given to the Company by his family, was  made to Max Carter-Miller.
