Doggett’s Emblem Evening -1st February

An enjoyable and relaxed evening where the achievements in rowing over the past year were recognised by the Company took place at the Hall on the 1st February. An informal presentation ceremony was followed by a delightful supper. All Doggett’s competitors from the previous year and apprentices who attended the sculling camp at Henley in the Autumn had been  invited to attend. During the evening the presentation to the winner of the Ben Woollacott Memorials Sculls, run each year at the weekend of the Sculling Camp,  was made by Ben’s father Freeman Steve Woollacott  to Lucas Britton.

Seen below with the Master Mr John Salter and the Prime Warden of the Fishmongers Company – Mr Nigel Bankes.

The award of the Watermen’s Company Silver Emblem was made to Mr Benjamin Folkard the winner of 2016 Doggett’s Coat and Badge Wager.
